Lazy Days
The past week has been a lazy one for training here at Shadowbar. The dogs are all recuperating from the Red Deer
experience and I have had a dental implant which is a bit of a pain. The only thing we have done that was fun was to
travel to Fernie to show off our carting dogs to friends and to visit Denise and her dobes. While there, I purchased some
soft crates and we got to watch Jagged run agility. Gorgeous.
Getting ready for new class sessions here at Shadowbar starting May 7th and May 11th so things will be hectic soon enough.
I get to go to Rocky Mt. House for herding May 8th. Don't know which dog is going just yet.
The PIncher Creek SPCA annual Dog Walk takes place May 9th. We are fortunate enough to have Jennifer Tomlin's trick
dogs come to entertain the walkers while they have their lunch. Looks to be a good time for all.
Our SAWHDA campout is the weekend after the long weekend and we will be treated to beardog work on Sunday afternoon!
Tomorrow I travel to Fort Macleod for a work session with Learning Support teachers. May take Token for company on the drive.
She goes everywhere with me anyway and she doesn't mind waiting in the vehicle while I work.
Spring has finally sprung.... crocuses, yellow bells and roosterheads in the pasture.
